The Quality Platform Learning (QPL) promotes certified quality for learning, education and training. It is a holistic and practice-oriented instrument for quality development, quality assurance and quality certification in all learning, education and training sectors. QPL encompasses the product and process quality of learning opportunities as well as the organisation quality of the provider.

QPL consists of three parts that can be certified and which complement one another:

• Part A: Quality of Learning Opportunities

• Part B: Quality of Organisations – Basic

• Part C: Quality of Organisations – Excellence

For “Part A: Quality of Learning Opportunities”, product quality is the principal concern.

In “Part B: Quality of Organisations – Basic” the learning provider itself is reviewed.

“Part C: Quality of Organisations – Excellence” focuses comprehensive quality management of the learning provider in consideration of products and processes and on top of the basic criteria from Part B.
